July. 30—Rotoma, s.s., for Melbourne and Hobart Tia Southern ports. Passengers —Migs Bostoclc, Mrs Eobinson, Mr and Mrs Harrington, Messrs Harding, S. Locke, Hilton. Burnett, W. G-. Brown, W. J. Lake, Grooott. D. Keys, Kyder, Thomas Harris, and M'Donald.

The Union Company's s.s. TJotorua, Capt. J. Vozer, arrived in the roadstead at daylight this morning from Northern ports, and ■was tendered shortly after arrival by the launch Boojum for passengers, and the ketch Admiral for cargo, some sixty tons. The following is the report of her passage, for which we thank Mr Gk D. Macfarlan, her purser:—Left Auckland at 10.30 a.m. on Thursday, arriving in GHsborne at noon yesterday j left again at 5.30 p.m., arriving as above. Experienced fine weather to Gisborne, and from thence till arrival easterly and southerly winds. She resumed her voyage for Southern ports, Hobart, and Melbourne, at about two o'clock.

The s.s. Result, Capt. W. E. Baxter, returned from Wairoa at 2 o'clock yes'erday afternoon, bringing several passengers, some general cargo, and a quantity of hides and sheepskins.

The schooner which arrived in the Bay yesterday proved to be the Elizabeth Conway,' Capt. W. Ware, from Lyttel'on, with a onrgro of 2RPO bushels of oats and 29 bundles of wire. She leffc Lyftelton last Sunday, and experienced variable She was brouffM in?ide and moored nt the breastwork yesterday afternoon. The p.p." Fairy, Capt. Jno. faniphell, returned from Pourere last night nt 10 o'clock, having successfully landed her cargo. The Union Steam Ship Company's s.s. Rotomahana, Capt. Thomas Underwood, arrived in the roads at 9.30 o'clock this mornIng from Melbourne and Hobart via Hie South. She brought sixty tons of cargo for this port, which will be lightered by the s.s. Sir Donald. Her advertised time for departure for Northern ports is 4 o'clock, at ■which time the launch will leave the wharf with the outward passengers. We were unable to procure a report of this vessel's passage. The steamer Oreti, Captain Campbell, arrived from Wellington at an early hour this morning, and was brought inside at daylight and moored at the cattle wharf, where she discharged her cargo, some thirty tons, during the morning. She steams for G-is-borne and Auckland at 5 o'clock to-night, taking a quantity of timber and other goods fpr Gisborne.
