The s.s. Kiwi, Capt. Campbell, does not leave Wellington until to-night, aucl "will therefore not arrive here before Thursday morning. She lias been delayed in Wellington almost a week by the heavy weather prevailing there. The s.s. Besult leaves for Wairoa early this evening, should a favorable account be received of the Wairoa bar during the afternoon. The schooner Owate, Captain Pavdy, was taken outside this morning, and is engaged in picking up an anchor and chain which was lost when she arrived here. The s.s. Fairy went out for a load of coal from the Silver Cloud this morning. We lenrn from a private telegram that the Bteamer Oreti is expected here on Thursday from Wellington, and will sail again for Auckland during the day. Messrs Murray, Koberte and Co. will be her agents.
[by cable.] Sydney. July 25. Arrived, this morning, Union Company's steamship Aravrata from Russell. Adelaide, July 25. The German steamship Catania from Hamburgh, where she left on May 25th, arrived here to-day.
