DEPARTURES
July. 18—Maori, s.s., for Mohaka and Wairoa, 19—Kiwi, b.s., for Wellington.
The s.s. Kiwi, Capt. Jas Campbell, left for Wellington via the coast at 1 o'clock this morning, taking a quantity of tallow, maize, and general cargo. The s.s. Maori, Capt. Anderson, left for Wairoa and Mohaka last night. It is doubtful "whether the s.s. Result will leave for Wairoa before to-morrow evening. Tbe repairs to the s.s. Sir Donald are now completed, and she is to make a trial trip round the bay this afternoon. She has a full load of timber and stores on board for Blackhead, and will leave for there during the night. The bri_antine Owake has ueen moved to the outer wharf, and commenced to discharge this morning. The s.s. Arawata, hence on Sunday night last, arrived at Gisborne yesterday at 11 a.m. The s.s. Maori, which left here last night, entered the Wairoa river at 11.30 a.m. to-day.

London, July 16. The Merchant Shipping and Underwriter's Association report the arrival of the barque Minnie Allen from Port Chalmers (left April 14).
