ARRIVALS. July. 13—Silver Cloud, three-masted schooner, from Newcastle, N.S.W. 14—Maori, s.s., from Wairoa. Passengers —Mrs Cropp, Messrs Can*, Fraser, arid Brown. 14—Mary Wadley, throe-masted schooner, from Greymoutb.

DEPARTURES.

July, 14—Crest of the Wave, topsail schooner, for Invei'cargill. 14—Result, s.s., for Wairoa, with several passengers. ■ ♦ The schooner which was telegraphed on Wednesday as having passed Castle Point turned out on arrival to be the three-masted schooner Silver Cloud, instead of tho Mary Wadley. She is from Newcastle, N.S.W., •with r load -f coal consigned to her owner, Mr J. H. Vautier. The lonsail schooner Crest of the Wave, Captain Iviunro, sailed for Invercargill in ballast at 9.30 a.m. yesterday. The fitting of the s.s. Sir Donald's boiler and engines are being rapidly pushed forward, and it is expected that she will bo able to get away for Blackhead to-morrow with a full load of timber. The s.s. Maori, Captain Anderson, returned from "Wairoa about 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon, with four passengers and a small cargo. She is expected to sail for the same place on Monday evening next. The s.s. Result, Captain Baxter, sailed for Wairoa last evening, taking several passengers and a good cargo. The Union s.s. Arawata, Captain Sinclair, through leaving Dunedin a day late, cannot now arrive here before Sunday forenoon. The three-masted schooner Mary Wadley, Capt. Linnfors, arrived in the bay last evening from G-reymouth, with a full load of coal, and "was towed inside by the s.s. Boojum this morning and moored at the breastwork. The s.s. Kiwi, Capt. Campbell, -was to have left Wellington at 5 o'clock last night, and should arrive here at daylight to-mor-row. She is advertised to sail for Wellington again at 5 o'clock on that evening. The schooner Island Lilly leaves Auckland for the Chatham Islands on Friday, the 22nd instant, at 11 a.m.
