July 10,

Favorable accounts are to hand from wheat-growing districts, and the yield is expected to be up to the average. July 12.

Owing to the determined resistance offered by the Arab tribes to the French troops, orders have been sent to the French squadron in the Mediteranean to proceed to Sfax to assist the vessels now engaged in bombarding the place, and to strengthen the force sent for service against tbe Arabs.
