M'T.ean, Monks, A. C. Kird, S. Andrews, E. Melon, and Baker ; Master Stock, and 25 saloon and 62 steerage original. 9—Stella, C.G. s.s. for Northern ports. 11—Kiwi, s.s., for Wellington. Passengers —Miss and Mr Harvey, and Mr Simmonds. The steamer Kiwi, Captain Campbell, left for G-isborne at 4,30 p.m. on Saturday, taking about 15 tons of cargo, a horse and a bull for Poverty Bay, and a quantity of tallow and other cargo for Wellington. She returned here early on Monday, and sailed for Wellington shortly after eleven o'clock.
The s.s. Result, Cnptain Baxter, returned from Wairoa on Saturday night, with cargo and passengers.
The Union Company's s.s. Penguin, Capt. James Malcolm, arrived here at p.m. on Saturday from Wellington, at which port she had the Bingarooma's, Melbourne and Southern cargo transhipped to her. The fcetch Three Brothers took off two horses, shipped by V! .Allan M'Lean, for Auckland, and lightered about fifteen tons of her cargo, the balance, about twelve tons, the Penguin was obliged to carry on, as the heaviness of the sea rendered it impossible for the lighter to lay longer alongside. She left for Northern ports at 9 o'clock.
The ketch Emerald, Capt. J". Moore, arrived here from Poxton on Sunday morning, and was brougnt inside and moored at the cattle wharf during the day. She reports Lazing left Foxton on Tuesday last, and experienced principally fine northerly weather. Her cargo, some 30,000 feet of timber, is consigned to Messrs Dolbel and Co.
The top-sail schooner Crest of the Wave, Capt. Munro, arrived here on Sunday morning from Dundin, after a 7 clays passage. She brings a cargo of 50 cases of kerosene and 782 sacks of oats to various consignees, wich she is discharging at the breastwork to-day.
The steamer Go-Ahead, Capt. Doile, arrived here at an early hour on Monday from Wellington, but -was unable to get inside before two o'clock. She brings a large cargo for here, the prinoipal part consisting of transhipments out of the Waimea.
The Colonial Government steamer Stella, Captain Fairchild, called here late on Saturday night, and after transhipping a few tons of goods to the ketch Three Brothers left for Portland Island and the North.
