MAILS CLOSE For Gtsborne, per Kiwi, to-morrow, at 12.30 p.m. For Wellington and Southern ports, per Te Anau, on Saturday, at 10 a.m. For Gisborne and Auckland, per Ringarooma. on Saturday, at 3 p.m. For Sandwich Islands, America, West Indies, the United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, via San Francisco, on Saturday, the 16th instant at 8 a.m. For money orders and registered lettera on Friday, the 15th instant, at 5 p.m. For newspaperd and book packets on Saturday, the 16th instant at 7 a.m. A steamer of the Peninsular and Oriental line, and one of the Orient line, leave Melbourne on the 2nd August. Correspondence specially so addressed, and prepaid the Brindiai rates of postage, viz., eightpence per half-ounce, will be forwarded by every opportunity.
