AUCKLAND.
June 30. George Wallen, aged 18 years, was found dead in a drain near where he had been working at Manarewa yesterday. He was subject to epileptic fits. The new St. Sepulchre's Episcopalian Church in the Kyber Pass road was opened and consecrated yesterday by Bishop Cowie. The building is capable of seating 700, and has a steeple 130 feet high. The criminal calendar comprises seventeen prisoners, five charged with offences against property, one with horse stealing, one with unlawfully wounding, one with stabbing, one with perjury, two with rape, two with criminal libel, and two with arson.
