In the South Island Waimea has one for 2839 ; Motueka, one for 2688 ; one for 1646 ; Cheviot, one for 1344; Nelson City, two for 6763 ; and Nelson Suburbs, one for 2561 ; Hokitika has two for 7908 ; Totara, one for 2,530 ; Mount Ida, one for 3,227 ; Dunstan, one for 3,881 ; Wallace, one for 3,487 ; Coleridge has but one member for 12,420 ; Heathcote, one for 11,631 ; Koslyn, one for 11,607 ; Caversham, one for 10,494 ; Christchurch, three for 30,701 ; and Dunedin, three for 24,441.

Auckland Provincial District has eighteen representatives for 96,169 people ; Taranaki, three for 14,639; Wellington, nine for 61,469; Hawke's Bay, three for 17,020. Total North Island, thirty-three members for 190,884 people.

Marlborough has three representatives for 9,273 people ; Nelson, eight for 26,177 ; Wesfcland, four for 14,756; Canterbury, fourteen for 111,436 ; and Otpgo, twenty-one for 134,401. Total South Island, fifty for 296,037.
