June 21

A man named John McElhenny has been killed by the tram on the Cavershamroad running over him. The deceasec, who w?s drunk, attempted to cross the line right in front of the car, which was going only at the rate of one mile an hour.

Alexander Bond, aged 80 years, died suddenly of heart disea. 3 last night at Hillside.

At the City Court to-day William McCadam was charged with attempted suicide Whilst drunk he laid himself down on the train line at Forbury, and with difficulty was removed. He was remanded for medical examination.
