ARRIVALS

June. 15—Kiwi, 5.?., from Wellington via the coast.

The steamer Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, arrived in fcho roadstead at. 5 o'clock tins morning, and was brought inside and berthed at the breastwork at 6.30. She reports having left Wellington at 10 p.m. on Monday ; arrived at Castle Point at noon on Tuesday ; landed mails, passengers, and some 10 tons of cargo, and left at 3 p.m., arriving here as above. Experienced fine weather, with a heavy southerly sea, throughout the run. She brought a full cargo for here, the greater part being transhipments out of the ship Arabella from London. The advertised time for her departnre for Gisborne is 4 p.m. She is to bring a considerable quantity of grain from Gisborne for here, and will come inside on her way back to Wellington. Mr J. H. Van tier's new schooner Frank Guy is to leave Newcastle, N.S.W., tomorrow with a load of coal for here. The topsail schooner Zior has about finished discharging her cargo, which so far has turned out in splendid condition, considering the rought weather she experienced on Tier way here. The Union Company's s.s. Taiaroa, Capt. ,J. Anderson, leaves JDunedin for heretonight. The cutter Clara, Captain Ferney, for Mohaka, is still delayed by the heavy set. in the bay.

Rttssell/, June 15. The Union Company's s.s. Arawata, Capt. Sinclair, left Sydney on the 10th at 2 p.m., and arrived at Euss'ell at 2 o'clock this morning. Strong variable winds wore experienced throughout the passage.
