The following intercolonial weather cable has been received here, dated Sydney, Thursday evening:-—" Strong wind and rain from S. and S.W., and high sea from S.E. on the East Coast."
Miss Leaf has been engaged by Mr Cary for the Pirates of Penzance.
Mr Jacob Joseph has given £20 and Mr|Joseph Nathan £100 to clear the debt of £300 on the Jewish Synagogue here.
