[BeOTEb's SrECIAL TO TEtEGRAPH.J LONDON. June 2. The international wool show at the Crystal Palace was opened to-day by the Duke of Connaught, in the presence of a vast assemblage of people. In his speech on the occasion His Royal Highness dwelt at length upon the importance of the staple then on exhibition. The only exhibits representing the Australian colonies are those of Sir Samuel Wilson, of Victoria, and Messrs Fisher and Pitt, of Adelaide. Some of the exhibits are not yet opened, but it is expected that the greater portion will be on view in a fortnight. The awards are to be made in August.
