Sturm offers to the public a large stock of fruit, forest, and ornamental trees, &c. Messrs Monteith and Co. "win. sell, on Saturday horses, produce, &c. Lost, a gold brooch with two emeralds. Messrs Monteith and Co. will sell on Monday next, at the Masonic Hotel, a town section and five-roomed cottage. Tenders are invited for tho erection of additions to Messrs Neal and Close's premises. The Hawie's Bay County Council invite tenders for the formation of a road in two contracts.
Mr John Asliton announces that lie has taken the Petangata Hotel, and solicits a ■hare of public support. A number of new advertisements will be found in our "Wanted" column.
