LONDON.
May 23. At the wool sale to-day 11,400 bales were offered, making a total of 105,100 bales calculated since the opening. Less demand was experienced and prices were occassionally easier. The Australian mails viaßrindiai were delivered here to-day. May 24. There is no foundation in the rumor recently circulated that the Bey of Tunis has been deposed by the Sultan. Further information has been received by the Admiralty with regard to the blowing up of H.M.b. Doterell In Magellan Straits on April 20. The survivors state that two explosions occurred, botb about the same time, at ten o'clock in the morning, while the vessel was at anchor. They, are however, unable to throw any light upon the cause of the terrible disaster.
