FORT AHURIRI

ARRIVALS.

May 24 —Linda Weber, brigantine schooner, from Wliangaroa. 25—Enterprise, topsail schooner, from Timaru.

DEPARTURES.

May 25 —Maori, s.s., for Wairoa. Passengers — Mrs Taylor and Light, Messrs Palmer, R. D. Mancy, Lyon, and two others.

The stetur.cr Mnori, Captain H. Anderson, left for Wairoa at 9 o'clock this morning, taking a good cargo and several passengers. The brigantine Linda Webor, Captain George Bell, arrived in the roadstcacl_ early yesterday morning, and was brought inside and. moored at the breastwork about noon. She is from Whangaroa, with a cargo of baulk timber consigned to Mr R. Holt, which she started to discharge to-day.

The topsail schooner Enterprise, Captain J. Graham, arrived in the Bay this morning from Timarn, and was brought inside about one o'clock. She reports having leffc Timaru on Wednesday, the 18th instant,, at 2 p.m. with a southerly brreze, which soon after leaving increased to a heavy gale with rough sea, lasting until Thursday, and doing some slight damage about the decks, when the wind veered to the northward, light and baffling, lasting till Friday night, when it again came on from the southward, with heavy squalls and rain, lasting until Monday when abreast of Cape Kidnappers; from there light baffling winds and calms to arrival as above. She brings a full cargo of oats-, etc., to various consignees, the principal being Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co., and Messrs Hoadley and Lyon.

The s.s. Besult, Capt. W. E. Baxter, leaves for the Wairoa at.B a.m. to-morrow.

The ketch Venus, Cfipt. King, is taking in ballast preparatory to leaving for Auckland.

The cutter Clara put back last night, as the sea on tho Mohaka bar was too rough to allow of her crossing.
