May I 1} — s.s., from Torangabau. D E P A. Tt TURK X Mai; 18—Mary Watlley, three-masted schooner, for Newcastle, NS.V. Passengers— Messrs J. Kennedy and J. Clancy. • The s.B. Maori, Captain Anderson, returned from Porangahau last evening, bringing a load of wool and skins. She is to leave for Wairoa to-morrow night. The s.s. Result, Captain W. E. Baxter, is to steam for the Wairoa at about 12 o'clock to-night. The ketch Reliance, Captain Lawson, cleared at the Customs to-day for Poverty Bay, and will probably get away on this evening's tide. The lighters finished discharging thencargoes transhipped ex tho s.s. Arawata this morning. The three-masted schooner Mary Wadley Captain J. P. Ballo, sailed, in ballast, at, 11.30 a.m. this day for Newcastle, New South Wales, taking two passengers. The s.s. Kiwi, Capt. Campbell, did not turn up as expected this morning, and no further intelligence has been received as to her movements. She has probably been landing cargo on the coast, and will not arrive before this evening. (by cable.) London. May 16. The Merchant Shipping and Underwriter's Association report the arrival of the ship Waimate from Lytteltan (sailed February 19). Melbourne, May 17. Sailed, Union Company's steamship Te Anau for the Bluff.
