THE TARARUA DISASTER.

Dunedin, May 14. The Daily Times' correspondent telegraphs from Wyndham yesterday that six bodies were found on the beach that morning. Three were ideatified as John Barry, Roberick Walsh, and William R. Wilson by papers found an the bodies. One of the bodies is supposed to be that of the chief engineer, Alexander Munro, as it had on blue serge trousers and vest, with the Union Company's buttons, and it answers to tbe description given of that officer by the chief mate. The other two bodies have not been identified. These make a total of 64 bodies recovered up to date. Wtndham, May 14. The Dunedin police left the beach early yesterday, and it is understood that both Inspector Buckley aud Detective Tuohy will follow them to-day. Up to the present time sixty-four bodies have been recovered. The friends of the late Captain Garrard intend to have the body exhumed and taken to Christchurch ior burial. Should the body of Mr Ramsay be recovered it will be removed by his friends.
The roads here are cutting up very rapidly, making the journey to and from the beach in the same day a matter of great difficulty,
