LONDON.
April 26. The death is announced of the Bavarian General Baron Yon der Taun, who commanded the Ist Bavarian Army Corps in the Franco Prussian war of 1870. The French have bombarded Tabareo, a town situated on a small isle of the same name in the Mediterranean, belonging to Tunis. It is rumored that the Government propose attacking the Land League in a body. The Times declares that the condition of Ireland is more serious now than it was before Parliament met and the Government introduced tbeir special legislation. May 2. A Turkish imperial irade has been issued accepting the terms proposed by the Powers for the rectification of the Greek frontier. Mr Dillon, the member for Tipperary, has been arrested and lodged in Kilmainham gaol, Dublin. Mr Parnell, alludirg to the arrest in the House of Commons, regretted that the Government had deprived bis friend the member for Tipperary of his rights. The Home Rule members were much irritated at the action of the Government, and obstructed the business of the House.
