Government Gazette. * NOTICE Or CONSTRUCTING AROAP IN THE NORSEWOOD SURVEI DISTRICT. NOTICE is hereby given that it 13 proposed, undei the provisions of " The Public Works Act, 1876," to execute a certain public work, to wit, the » construction ot a road lying between the seventy fourth mile-peg on the Wellington-Napier Railwaj and the Seventy-Mile Bush Road, twelve miles from ' Kopua, in the Norsewood Survey District, in the County of Waipawa, and for the purposes of such ' public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken ; and notice is further given that the plan of the said road, and of the land bo required to be taken, IS deposited in the Public Works Offices at Kopua, in the Takapau Survey District, and is there open for inspection : And notice is hereby giveD that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking 1 of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister for Public Works, Wellington, SCHEDULE. All that piece and parcel of land containing by admeasurement 4 acres 1 rood 10i perches more or less, situate in the Survey District of Norsewood, Block X., Waipawa County, Deing portion of Manawatu No. 3, Te Ohu Block, commencing at the northernmost point on the Seventy-Mile Bush Road at Matamau. Bounded— Generally southerly and easterly by lines, Cl 5. 2r.0, and 3492J links respectively; westerly by Railway Reserve, 102 links; generally northerly and westerly by lines, 3461 J. 218, and 694 links respectively; north-easterly by Seventy-Mile Bush Road, 100 links to the commencing point. ~ Dated at Wellington this twenty-first day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one. SALE OF VALUABLE SECTIONS ON THE RECLAIMED LAND. TENDERS will be receivable at the Town Clerk's Office, Napier, up to NOON of MONDAY, the ' 16th May, 1881, frr the rurchase of one or more Subdivisions of Town Sections NO3. 375, 378, 379, 380, 381, 382, 383, 355, situated on the Reclaimed Land. The Subdivisions are all pegged out, and numbered from Ito 54 comccutively. Subdivisior 23 is reserved from sale. Tenders may be sent in subject to either of the > two following conditions, viz.: 1. Cash on acceptance of Tender 25 per cent, ol , total amount; balance in 1, 2, and ;> yeari at 7 per cent. Or, 2. Cash on acceptance of Tender 10 per cent, [ol total amount; balance in 1, 2, 3, and 4 , years at 8 per cent.
