NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of this Council at its next meeting on MAY 16th, to levy a General Rate of 9din the & upon all rateable property within the County, such rate to be for the period from the Ist day of April, 1881, to the 81st day of March, 1882, and that the said rate shall be payable en the 2nd day of July, 18S1. NOTICE is hereby given that Mr John Collinqe, Collector under the " Dog Nuisance Act " has been authorised to kill and destroy all unregistered Dogs in the County of Hawke's Bay. Also— That all the men whilst belonging to the Police Force on ditty in the said County of Hawke's Bay arc hereby authorised to kill all unregistered Dogs from and after the Ist day of May proximo until further notice.
