April. 20 —Venus, ketch, for Mercury Bay,
The ketch Venus, Capt. King, sailed for Mercury Bay in ballast at noon to-day. Bhe is to return •with timber for Mr H. B. Gunn.
The steamer Maori left Wairoa at 9.30 a.m. thie day, and will probably arrive here about 3 o'clock this afternoon.
The three-masted schooner Silver Cloud arrived in Newcastle yesterday, and leaves for Napier on the 31st instant.
