SYDNEY.
April 14. A deputation of Italians residing in this city waited npon the Premier Sir H. Parkes, to-day, and presented him with a letter expressing in grateful terms their appreciation of the geuerous action
of the New South Wales Government in affording assistance and shelter to their countrymen, the Italian emigrants belonging to the Marquis De Ray's expedition, who recently arrived here from New Caledonia in a destitute condition.
