CHRISTCHURCH.
April 12. At a meeting of the promoters of the Caswell Sound Marble Company to-day, Mr M'Rae, the chairman, stated that two thousand shares had been sold, and he believed £2500 would be sufficient to develope the enterprise. A committee was formed to determine the memo, of the association. The Duke of Manchester arrived here from Wellington this morning.
