April 11. The Bey of Tunis has formally protested against the French violation of his territory, and has appealed to the Powers for protection. Mr Parnell has written a letter on the subject of the Irish Land Bill which has been introduced in the House of Commons. He says the measure is seriously defective, and tbe good derivable from it depends entirely upon the firmness of the people in their adherence to the Land League. He denounces the clauses of 1 the bill providing for the making of grants to facilitate emigration. A bulletin issued this morning report that the Earl of Beaconsfield has had a
severe attack of spasmodic breathing, but has since been greatly relieved by the same.
