TAUPO.
April 7
The Rangapo case which was called on in the Native Lands Court on Monday last, was then adjourned till to-day, the reason alleged being that there were claimants who were then unrepresented. To-day the case has been again adjourned until Wednesday next for the same reason. The natives here, to the number of some hundreds, were extremely indignant at the adjournment, and asked the Court who was to feed them. They assert —and it is thought with reason — thrt the Court has been wilfully deceived by some persons who hope to break up the Court sitting on food supplies failing the natives.
