Tbe Australian team of footballers will play theii first match against Victoria on the 7th of May. They proceed on a tour through New Zealand on the 4tb June.
His Excellency the Marquis of Normanby is sufferiug from an attack of fever and ague. Mr Graham Berry will, consequently, preside at the meeting of the Executive Council to be held tomorrow.
Mr Munro, M.L.A., was violently assaulted by Mr Sergeant, M.L.A., in public to-day. The latter has since been arrested.
