Passengers—Mrs Walter Hallett, Mr and Mrs M. S. Beet and child, Messrs M'Lean, Sharp, Syramons, Fitzgerald, Olsen, R. Allorn, J. Ross, and Ansel Tiffen.

The Union Company's s.s. Rotorua, Oapt. J. Tozer, arrived here at daylignt this morning. The following is the report of her passage, for which we thank Mr Stanton, her purser:—Left Russell at 5 p.m. on the 30th March, and arrived at Auckland at 5.30 a.m. on the 31st; sailed at noon, and arrived at Gisborne at 4 p.m. on the Ist April; sailed at 7.30 p.m., arriving here as above. Experienced light easterly winds and fine -weather on the passage down. She sailed for Southern ports and Melbourne at one o'clock. Her inward cargo, some fifty tons, was lightered ashore by the Boojum and Three Brothers, and was discharged at the breastwork during the morning. The steamer Sir Donald, Captain Q.uinlan, left for Blackhead and Wainiarama at a late hour last night, taking a full load of posts, grass seed, and stores. The s.s. Result, Captain Baxter, steamed for Wniroa at about 10 o'clock last night, taking a good cargo. The cutter Clara, Captain Eernie, sails fov Mohaka to-night. The s.s. Maori, Captain Anderson, returned from Wairoa this morning, bringing a good cargo and two passengers. The Union Company's s.s. Tararua, Capt. Garrard, is to leave Wellington m this afternoon, and should arrive here to-morrow morning. Her advertised time of departure for Northern ports and Sydney is 5 p.m. (by cable.) Adelaide, April 1. Freights to London are as follow: — Steamer, 45/ j ditto sailing, 42/6. Freights to the United Kingdom, from Adelaide 52/6 to 55/, ditto from the outports 45/ to 47/6.
