LONDON.
April 1. The revenue returns for the March quarter amount to £27,875,300, showing an increase of £750,000 compared with the corresponding quarter last year. The revenue for the year amounted to £84,062,000, showing an increase of £2,750,000 compared with last year. A bulletin issued at midnight reports that the Earl of Beaconsfield's health was in a more favorable state. Loans for Tasmania for £300,000 at four per cent, and for Fiji for £150,000 at four and a half per cent, have been issued on tbe London market.
The latest bulletin issued this morning regarding the health of the Earl of Beaconsfield states that His Lordship is much weaker from the effects of the relapse, but otherwise has improved during the night.
