DEPARTURES.

March. 29—Maori, s.s., for Wairoa. Passengers— Mesdamcs Dennett, Browji, and Glass, and seven natives.

The s.s. Sir Donald, Captain Quinlan, returned from Moeangiangi yesterday afternoon, having landed the whole of her cargo, and shipped 17 bales of wool. She is now loading up for Blackhead and Waimarama, and will probably sail to-morrow night. The s.s. Fairy, Captain Campbell, arrived from Te Apiti last evening, having landed her cargo for that place. Tho steamer Maori, Capt. Anderson, left for Wairoa at 11 o'clock this morning, takagood cargo and ten passengers. The steamer Result, Capt. Baxter, is to leave for Wairoa about 9 o'clock to-night.

The three-masted schooner Silver Cloud, Capt. Ballo, was towed outside by the s.s. Maori at 7 o'clock this morning, but the sea breeze sotting in before she could get an offing, she was obliged to drop anchor. The s.s. Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, left Wellington last evening, and should arrive here to-night or early the following morning. She is advertised to steam for Poverty Bay at 7 o'clock to-morrow night.
