Messrs Stevens and Gorton report that at their sale of Mr J. I>. Canning's live stock at Oakbourne 50 Cotswold rarm brought from 2 to 4 guineas each; Cotswold ewes (1500) from 7s to £1 each ; short-horn bull, 70 guineas ; heifer and calf:,, 35 guineas ; cows, from 6to 10J guineas,- Jthree-yenr-ohl heifers, 14 to 15£ guineas ; yearling heifers, 5 guineas ; weaner heifers, 4 guineas ; two and three-year-old steers, 5 to- -7 guineas; yearling steers, 4 guineas ; weanei' steers, 3 guineas.
