DEPARTURES.
March. 21—Clara, cutter, for Mohaka. 22 —Fa'ry, g.s., for Waikari. The brigantine Linda Weber, Capt. George Bell, arrived in tho roadstead at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon from Vvhangaron, and was brought inside and moored at the breastwork thii morning. She reports having left on Thursday last, experiencing variable westerly winds throughout. She brings a cargo of 76,000 feet of baulk timber consigned to Mr Robert Holt. The cutter Clara, <'apt. D. Fernie, left for Mohtilui. last night with a fair cargo. The schooner Captain G-. Ruxton, arrived in the harbor last night from Le 33ons Bay, winch place she left yesterday week, experiencing strong westerly and north-westerly gales during the first part of the voyage. She brings a cargo of 690 sacks of grass seed to various consignees. The steamer Fairy left for Waikari at an early hour this morning, taking a fair cargo of station stores, &c. The schooner Cissy, Capt. Thomas Carmiehael, arrived in the Bay this morning, and was brought inside shortly after arrival. She hails from Dunedin after a sixteen days passage, during the first portion of which she experienced a strong northwesterly gale. She brings a mixed cargo, the principal part being flour, oats, and bran to various consignees. The s.s., Sir Donald, Capfc. Edward Qumlan, is to leave for Blackhead to-night. The schooner Aspasia, Capt. W. Mooro, left Lyttelton last Friday, and arrived in Bay last night, having experienced light variable westerly winds throughout. Sha is ladon with grass seed, flour, bran, bacon, cheese, &c, for various consignees. Tho ketch Venus, Capt. J. King, arrived in the roads at about 9 o'clock this morning, and was brought inside during the morning. Fhe reports having left Mercury Bay last Thursday, and experienced light changeable •weather during the run. She brings a cargo of 33,000 feet of sawn timber consigned to Mr H. B>. Griinn. JFrom a private telegram we learn that the 8.8. Kiwi was unable to land her cargo at Castle Point yesterday, through the strong IiT.W. gale that was blowing there all day, and her departure for hero was thus delayed until to-day, She is expeoted to arrive here to-night, and [will try and get away for Wellington again at 1 o'clock to-morrow afternoon.
The Union Company's steam launch Boojum is announced to steam for Wairoa to-morrow at 4 a.m.
