Mr W. Rontledge reports —At the sale I held at Hastings on Saturday the attendance was good and the competition was spirited for every animal except Mr Canning's draught horses, the reserve price on them being considered by buyere too high. (By Cable.) Londow, March 18. ' Consols have advanced to IOOf. Adelaide wheat, ex-warehouse, 50s. Tne total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 2,190,000 quarters. New Zealand wheat, ex-ship, 365; Adelaide flour, exwarehouse 345. Australian tallow, best beef 33s and best mutton 365.
The four and half per cent. New Zealand 1879-1904 loan is quoted at 97J. Rpst Scotch pig iron, No. 1, free on board in Clyde, 495.
