The following further Exhibition awards are announced to-day:—First order of merit: John Walker, Thames, for tomato sauce; C. C. Armstrong, Dunedin, JU. Craig, Auckland, James Dall, Nelson, A. J. Green, Westport, Mrs R. Helms, Greymouth, and C. K. Jeffs, Wellington, for collections of New Zealand ferns; Mies E. D. Harris, Nelson, Mrs Tizard, Thames, for water colors of New Zealand flowers. Second order of merit: H. F. Logan and P. Stewart, Wellington, and J. Thomson, Dunedin, for collections of New Zealand ferns; Miss Nutt, Dunedin, for water colors of New Zealand ferns. Third order of merit: C. A. C. Hardy, Rakaia, J. Re?an, Thames, Mrs Charlotte Spence, D.inedin, and Mrs Tizard, Thames, for collections of New Zealand ferns. March 16. In fhe Legislative Assembly last nighr the consideration of the Reform Bill in committee of the whole was resumed. The members of the Opposition abstained from discussion, and the various clauses of the measure were passed by the committee. The bill was reported to the House, and the third reading is fixed for Tuesday next.
