Parker, Chad wick, Owens, Higgins, Worthington, Monteith, J. Irvine, and Laing. 15—Kiwi, s.s., for Wellington. Passengers —Mr and Mrs Kraeft and family (4).

The s.s. Maori, Captain Anderson,steamed for Wairoa last night, and arrived there at 6 o'clock this morning. She took a good cargo and several passengers, -whose names ■we were" unable to ascertain. The Union Steam Ship Company s s.w. Boojum, Captain A. Do well, steamed for Wairoa at 11.30 a.m. this day taking a number of passengers ans a» small quantity of cargo. The steamer Kiwi, Capt. ,Taffi«s- Campbell, arrived here from Poverty Bay shortly before eight o'clock this morning, and steamed on her way to Wellington via the coast shortly after noon. She" brought a mimbeiv of passengers from Poverty Bay, and took six for Wellington, as well as 240 sacks of rye grass, ten valuable merino rams from the flocks of the Hon. H. B. Russell, and some general cargo. Tho s.s. Sir Donald is loading up with posts for Eniry'Bny, and will leave to-night. The s.s. Fairy is loading; grass seed for the coast, and will probably get away toP Tho steamer Bella returned from Owe last evening. _ The schooner Mary Wadley, Capt. J. r. Balle, arrived from Greymouth yesterday, and not from Newcastle as reported. " ne following is the report of her passage '.— Left on the 6th inst., at 1 a.m. with a light S.E. wind, which soon changed to E. and so continued light until rounding Cape Farewell on the 7th, at noon, and through Cook Straits until the 10th, when a light N.N.E. wind sprung up and carried her round Cape Palliser on the 11th ; then experienced a fresh N. gale lasting until the 13th. when she had to beat up as far as Cape Turnagain, when a light W. breeze came or. •;>.'. carried her round Cnpe Kidnappers on the 14th at 3 a.m., and to the anchorage as above. She was towed and brought inside by the s.s, sir Donald at 7 o'clock this rnorning and moored at the breastwork, where she is discharging her cargo of coal for her owner, Mr J. H. Yautier.
