ABRIVALS.

March. 10—Pes-tilfr, s.s., from Wairoa via Whakamnhia. Passengers—Miss Carroll, Mrs "Walter I allett and three children, and Mr Wm. Brown. 10 —Clara, ketch, from Poverty Bay. <■ The steamer Result, Captain W. E. Baxter, returned from Wairoa at about 10 o'clock last night, bringing several passengers and a quantity of cargo. She called at Wbakamahia en route. Ihe ketch Clara, D. Fernie, arrived in the Bay Inst night, and was brought inside tins morning, having left Gisbornc on Thursday evening last. Experienced fine weather •with light winds throughout the run. Her ca'-go consists of about 20 tons of Manuka firewood. She is partly owned by her captain, and is, we believe, intended for local trade. The Union Company's s.s. Arawata, Capt. Sinclair, left Auckland at 8 o'clock last, night, with sixty tons of cargo, and cannot therefore arrive here before Sunday morning early. The s.s - Kiwi, Capt, Campbell, did not turn up this morning as was expected, the coast work having probably detained her. She will, however, arrive to-night, and will sail forCisborne on Saturday afternoon. The "Union Company's s.s. Albion is to leave Wellington for this port this afternoon, and should arrive hrr» about midday to-morow. She is advertised to leave for Northern ports at 5 o'clock on Saturday evening.
