James Dunn, arrived in the Bay about 8 o'clock this morning, and was immediately boarded by the pilot and brought inside. She left Mercury Bay on "Wednesday last, and experienced light easterly weather with a heavy roll throughout the run. _ She brings a full load of sawn timber consigned to Messrs C. Polbel and Co, which she is discharging at the breastwork to-day. The steamer Eesult, Capt. W. E. Baxter, left for Wairoa at eleven o'clock last night, taking a full cargo and two passengers, whose names we were unable to ascertain.' The s.s. Maori's departure for Wairoa Las been postponed until to night at about 10 o'clock. The steamer Kiwi, Capt. Campbell, is to leave Wellington at 3 o'clock this afternoon, and should arrive here on Friday morning early. She is to leave for Poverty Bay at 8 p.m. the same day. The schooner Silver Cloud was righted again this morning, when it was found that she had made a large quantity of water during the night, and also had hogged herself on the other side, through not being heeled over in deep enough water, thus giving her a decided kink upwards amidship.
