The following further awards to New Zealand exhibitors are announced: — Second order of merit : Waddell, M'Leod, and Weir, Wellington, for hall doors. Third order of merit: George Fleming, Nelson, for tables inlaid with New Zealand woods. Fourth order of merit: Alexander Simson, Waikairi, Southland, for bagpipes of native material ; F. W. Swine, Maungatapu, Nelson, for chrome iron ore. Fifth order of merit: Thomas Condliffe, Malverin Hill, Canterbury, for terra-cotta work. Later. The following additional Exhibition awards are published:—First order of merit: Professor Yon Haast, Christchurch, for ethnological collection ; Dr. Hector, for geological specimens ; Bank of New Zealand, for gold specimens; Brunner Coal Company, Heath Coal Company, Greytnouth and Kaitangata Coal Company, and Westport Colliery, for coal ; Wilson, for eulphnr. Second order of merit: Bay of Islands Coal Company, for coal. Third order of merit: T. R. Hackett, Nelson, for chrome ores ; Ingram and White, Oxford West, Canterbury, for chalk; Johnston Bros, Nelson, for ores ; D. Macfarlane, Jackson's Bay, tor copper ore. Fourth order of merit: W. Wilkinson, Thames, for printing; Carl Peter, Wellington, for table of New Zealand woods ; A. McAlraith, Homebush, Malvern Hills, Canterbury, for fire-clay ; Roding River Copper Company, Nelsou, for copper and chrome ores; Colonial Museum, Wellington, for ores. Fifth order of merit: Edward and Green, Wellington, for printing. March 9. Honorable mention: W. Moor and Sons, Christohurcb, for brougham.
