TO THE RATEPAYERS OP THE HERETAUNGA HIGHWAY DISTRICT. TAKE NOTrCE—That on MONDAY, the 14th instant, it is the intention of the District Board to make a rate of three pence (3d) in the pound on all the rateable property in the District, excepting that part known as the Township of Hastings, including North, South, and East Hastings, where it is intended to levy a rate of one shilling i a the pound on all the rateable property. The rate will be made for the year ending 30th June, 1881, and will become payable on the 15th day of March in= tant.
