No entry will bo received after tho stated hour and data on any pretence whatever 5. First race to start at C. All Races to be rowed under Henley Rules 7. Tho decisions of the Umpire and Judge shall in all cases be final. 8. For this Resatta—By an Amateur shall bo understood tho reverse of a Professional as defined by the "Australasian" of October 25th, 1879, viz. :— " A professional rower is a person who has earned or is earning bis living on the water ; who has been engaged in boat-building, or letting or tending of boats; who has competed against watermen at any Regatta ; or who has rowed for or received a money prize, or taken money in recognition of his skill in rowing. " 8. Each pulling boat shall carry a distinguishing flag. 10. In the case of a " walk over " no public money will be given. 11. No second prize will bo awarded in any race unless there be three startors,
