THE TE AROHA MURDER.
[by telegraph.] Geahamstown, March 1. The inquiry into the murder case was continued this morning, Mr Pendent, a merchant in Auckland, and who was resident previously in Russia, acting as interpreter for the accused. Sergeant-Major O'Grady deposed taking off the boots from the.accused, and showing them to Doctor Htixtable, who remarked that the spots on them looked like blood. The accused accounted for the Btains by saying that his nose bled on the floor. Witness saw under the nail of the finger blood, and in the nostril. Previous to the 15th instant lie had not seen blood on the floor or about the accused.
