N.Z. RIFLE ASSOCIATION'S ANNUAL PRIZE FIRING.

Nelson, February 28. The staff and representatives left for the camp tbis morning. Major Baillie commands, with Captain Webb as Adjutant of the District Captain Wildman, of the Thames Navals, and Sub-Inspector Coleman, A.C., are on the staff.

The total entries are 153, about 130 men having arrived. The first match commences this afternoon, and is open to all members of the Association at 200, 400, and 500 yards. The weather is glorious. Mayoress Dudson fires the first shot at 8 o'clock.
