THE COLLISION ENQUIRY.

Auckland, February 28. The enquiry into the collision between the Albion and the Isabella Pratt closed on Saturday. The judgment of the Court is as follows : —" The Court are unanimously of opinion that no blame attaches to Captain Garrard or the officers of the Albion, and returns thoir certificates. If the crew of the Isabella Pratt could not make out the steamer, how could the steamer's look-out man make out the Isabella Pratt P The Court are of opinion that the Isabella Pratt standing on into the steamer's smoke wae foolhardy, api fliat a
Collision might hare been avoided had the schooner gone about when the steamer was first made out." No order was mado for costs.
