CALCUTTA.
February 23. Intelligence has been received from Candahar that circumstances have transpired there which lead to the belief that the evacuation of that place by the British garrison will shortly be commenced. No definite announcement of the intended withdrawal, has however, been made public at Candahar or in this city.
