February 21. The probability of a conference of the two Houses of Parliament being held to agree if possible to a compromise on the reform. question is stated to be increasing, but nothing official on the subject has yet been announced. A. six day's pedestrian contest was commenced at midnight last night. There are fifteen competitors, including Swan, of New Zealand.
