A CORRECTION.
[To the Editor of the Daily Th&egbaph.] Sib,—Will you allow me to correct an error which appears in the report of the Borough Council meeting in your issue of Saturday last. Your reporter appears to have entirely misunderstood the purport of my communication to the Council. I was not complaining that an air ventilator " was within six feet of the line of fence," aa stated in your paragraph, but was merely bringing under the notice of the Council that " ventilation was within the line offence " a distance of six feet, meaning that it was trespassing on the section to that extent. As a very erroneous impression appears to be drifting about concerning my socalled " complaint " to the Council, will you kindly correct the same by giving this insertion in your next issue.—l am, etc., D. Mole. Napier, February 21, 1881.
