February. 18—Go-Aliend, s.s., for Wellington. 19—Botomahann, s.s., for Sourlhern ports and Melbourne. Passengers—Misses Jackson and Richardson;Mesdames W. Hallett and Owen ; Mr and Mrs C. Robertson, Mr and Mrs J. W. Henderson; Messrs H. L. Donnelly, C B. Hoadley, Grant, Strachan, J. Robertson, Knewstub, S. H. Meyers M'Clintock, Welsh, J. M'Pheo, and O'Brien.
The Union Steam Ship Company's s.s. Rotomahnna, Capb. Thomas Underwood, arrived here at daylight this morning having left Auckland at 1 p.m. on tho 17th insfc ; reached Gisborne at noon on the 18th ; discharged and loaded cargo, and sailed again at 7 p.m., arriving as above. Experienced light variable -winds during the trip. She transhipped her cargo to the s.s. Sir Donald dm ing the morning, and left for the South and Melbourne at one o'clock. As the s.s. Kiwi was anxious to call at Blackhead on her wav down the coast this trip, her departure was postponed until five 'o'clock to-night on account of the southerly ■wrincl Wowing vosfcerdii/. The Union Company's s.s. Albion, Capt. Garrard, left Wellington at 6 o'clock last night, and should arrive here about 2.30 p.m. this day. Her advertised time of departure is 5 o'clock. The s s. G-o-Ahead, Capt. E. M. Dicker, left for Wellington shortly after 5 o'clock last night. The s.s. Result is to leave for Wairoa on Monday night. lhe s.s. Rosina is to leave for Poverty Bay at 5 o'clock to-night. The s.s. Sir Donald is to leave for Blackhead en Monday evening, and the s.s. Fairy is to leave for Te Apiti on Sunday evening.
