February 16. The following further Exhibition awards have been announced :—Second order of merit: W Savage, Cbristchurcb, for pen and ink drawing; H. C. W. Wrigg, Wellington, for pen and ink drawing; R. T. Holmes, Wellington, for steel plate with proofs; Surveyor-General of New Zealannd for specimens of photolithography ; Dr James Hector, for maps ; W. W. J. Spriar, Weliington, for map of Otago. Third order of merit: Robert Lamb, Napier, for designs for timberframed churches ; John Buchanan, Wellington, for illustration of grasses, etc; Girhard Mueller, Hokitika, for map of Westland. Fourth order of merit : F. W. Burwell, Invercargill, for architectural drawings. Fifth order of merit; Leonard Stowe, Wellington, for model of calculating machine.
