NAPIER HARBOR BOARD.

Tuesday, February 15. The Board met at 2.30 p.m. Present—The Chairman (Mr J. D. Ormond, M H.R.), the Hon. J. N. Wilson, Captain Gleadow, and Messrs Smith, Vautier, Lyndon, Miller, Kinross, Tanner, and Wardrop. THE ELECTIONS. The Secretary stated that he had received intimation that the Hawke's Bay County Council had re-elected Messrs Kinross and Williams, and from the notification published in the Herald of that morning he had ascertained that Captain Gleadow and Messrs Lyndon and Smith had been elected by the Napier ratepayers. He did not know what had been done bythe Waipawa or the Wairoa County Councils. Mr Miller said he had been asked hy the Chairman of the Wairoa County Council whether he would represent that body and he replied in the affirmative, but he had not since received any communication on the subject. THE DIVING DHESS. Mr Kinross asked whether a charge would not be made for the use of the diving dress in examining the bottom of the Silver Cloud ?
