The following further Exhibition awards are published : —Second prizes : Chambers of Commerce, Oamaru, for photographs of Oamaru ; N. R. Gerill, Christchurch; Clifford and Morris, Dunedin, and J. J. Taylor, Motueka, Nelson, for photographs. Third prizes: J. Bragge, of Wellington, "W. B. Gibbs, Wellington, and Brunton, of Dunedin, for photographs. The following further Exhibition awards have been announced:—First prizes: C. C. Palmer, Waimea West, Nelson, for hops. Second prizes: W. Cudden, of Christchurch, for malt; Thomas Harley of Nelson, for hops and malt; S. Minning and Co., bf Christchurch, for malt and barley; Ward and Co., of Christchurch, for malt. Third prizes: W. Cudden, of Christchurch, for malt; R. Cunningham and Co., of Christchurch, for malt.

Arrived, Albion, from tbe Bluff.

The railway between Gerogery and Albany, New South Wales, was opened to-day, and communication between Melbourne and Sydney is now completely opened. Tbe ceremony was performed by the Hon. John Lockey, tbe New South Wales Minister for Public Works, who formally declared the line open, and delivered a congratulatory address, in the course of which he expatiated upon the benefits to be derived by tbe completion of communication between Melbourne and Sydney. The Hon. Graham Berry, the Hon. J. B. Patterson, Sir Henry Parkes, and Sir Patrick Jennings, were present, together with an assemblage of fully 2000 persons. The whole proceedings passed off with eclat, &nd were followed by a lucheon. A grand ball and supper to-night will conclude tbe festivities.
